Soccer Practice

I recently signed Chad and Jane up for Mommy/Daddy & Me Soccer for 2-3 1/2 year olds. "Practice" is held every Saturday. So far, Jane has figured out the basics: don't to pick up the ball and kick it into the goal. Not bad for a two-year-old.

Half the time she participates and has a great time. The other half she acts stubborn and instead of participating says, "I don't want to." This has come as no surprise.

The Curse is Broken

Saturday, BYU Football officially sealed its return to glory by defeating the University of Utah in one of the greatest games in this rivalry's storied history.

Down by four (27-31) with 1:19 remaining, quarterback John Beck rallied the Cougars, and lead them down the field. He found tight end Jonny Harline for 18 yards to the Utah 36 on 4th-and-4. He hit freshman McKay Jacobson for a 16-yard pass to the Utah 12. And after two incompletions, Beck took the final snap of the game with three seconds remaining. The rest is history:

The Cougars are definitely back.
